Brazil achieved total phase out of CFCs in all major consumer sectors on 1 January 2007. UNDP as a partner in this process, mobilized US $63.4 million fron the Montreal Protocol (MLF) to develop national capacity and to provide technical assistance to sectors consuming Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) (such as foams, refrigeration, solvents, process agents and others).
